well because were on a budget I think WF keeps raising the price on the band that matches my engagement ring so we now have slight dilemma.
so lately I''ve been trying to decide what to do so I thought I would come here and ask for opinions here are my options...

A: Try to find a similar band to the one on white flash for half the price
b: bead set or channel set diamond and gemstone ring in platinum (im not sure which gemstone any ideas??)
c: last resort...plain platinum band (my ring looks funny to me with one)

heres the "matching band" from Whiteflash http://www.whiteflash.com/Wedding_Bands/-Tiffany--style-Bead-Set_1018.htm

I don''t know why but the band in that pic looks huge to me! Anyways what would you do? please help me im stuck on this decision I really like the gemstone idea but im not sure how it would look photoshop anyone????

A channel set wedding band to go with that style of engagement ring is pretty much a generic item that you could shop for. Vendors like Whiteflash who sell finely cut diamonds want you to use those premium stones and admittedly, they will make a better match for your engagement ring if Whiteflash made it. However, if the effort is to get a reasonable "look=alike" that is not as identical, then potentially someone else might be able to cut the cost some.

Once you know the color, clarity, number of diamonds, total weight of the stones, finger size, metal karat, and shank width, along with the photo of the engagement ring you can get good estimates to manufacture a wedding band to fit you from many sellers.

I would get the matching band from whiteflash. Save your money for a while and maybe cut something else out of the wedding budget. I''ve "gone cheap" before with jewelry, and I''ve always been sorry. It''s always going to bug you if you don''t have what you want for an important purchase like a wedding band. However, if you really can''t afford it *now*, then I''d get the cheapest possible wg wedding band to wear in the mean time for under $100.

Ebree used to have a similar setting & never quite found a band she liked paired with it. Maybe I can find the thread ... she ended up with a new e-ring setting altogether.

Not to be discouraging ... just, this seems like a familar situation & many many many many many rings have already been suggested to go with that ring. If we can find her old thread it will give you a BIG headstart.

I would get the matching band from WF too. I know the rising prices are a bummer but I think it would be worth it to save up a bit longer and just get the one the matches to begin with.

Save up and get the band you want. I think you''ll regret it later if you don''t.

I''d save up and get the matching band. If you can''t save up in time for the wedding, maybe you could get a plain band and get the matching band for your one year anniversary? If you are paying for things for your wedding, I''d cut the cost there on things that will not be photographed. Anything that isn''t going to be in your stills probably won''t be as memorable and it can be scrimped on a little bit.

Ditto what kcoursolle and lumpkin said. I''d save up, and in the meantime get a cheaper plain band to wear and find ways to cut the wedding budget.
