Wedding band choices: Single Stone or Leon''s r860

I think you made a great decision. The EC band at singlestone is just incredible and really unique. It will look lovely with your fabulous cushion. The micropave band will also look beautiful and will be a great anniversary present or something and it will be fun to switch it up with the two bands or stack!

ETA: I think 3/4 eternity is really smart if you are banging up the bottom of your rings. You might have to re-adjust it every now and then if it spins, but this is no biggie.

I never did get ahold of Leon - it's been a total pain in the bum trying to catch him when he's available, since I am three hours behind and am at work during the day. But, since it's an item that he does on a regular basis, I figure it'll still be available later in the year (it'll just be more $$$ d/t the skyrocketing cost of plat.

. The SS band is 2500 for full eternity and 2040 for 3/4 - and that's using F/VS1 stones. It's gone up about $500 since March.

If anyone has a recent quote for the Leon, I'd love to know. **Hint, hint. Haaaarriet - you're in there every other week, aren't cha?**

I''m having Leon make me a similar band, a smidge thinker (1.6-1.7mm) with no milgrain, and its slightly less than $2K. HTH!

Not to worry, Melanie611 had the scoop on the same band, only a smidge thinner. I''m sending off a cheque to Single Stone tomorrow. We''ll see how that works with my ring first. I have a feeling I''ll still want the Leon band even if it does work.

Anyone want to talk me out of 3/4 eternity??? Last call.

Hi kc: I just re-read your post and Miranda''s and will definitely go 3/4, and since I wear my ring at my exact size, I would hope that readjustment would only be a concern in the winter. As the weather warms up, I''ve noticed my ring spinning less. Oh, and THANK YOU for the reminder re: turning the Leon ring into an anniversary present. Must remember to drop that hint in a big way.
