Wedding Wedding 5 Days.. Help with TIPS for vendors

HELP!!! I am trying to figure how much to tip

Room Captain from Hotel
Coordinator from Hotel, Helpful in planning and will be setting up all my things except flowers
Officiant.. Her own Business
Hair Stylist.. Her own Business.. and we are doing very easy half up dos.. just pinning the sides back and loose curls ( 3 )
DJ - 4 hours.

We are having a small ( 60 people ) formal Sunday wedding at a Hotel. Late Afternoon Early Evening
I will post pictures when I get them back.

Colors .. Black , Cream, Champagne, Antique Gold... and some touches of Magenta Orchids ( to pop color )

I am so excited..nervous,, I can''t wait

Room Captian...2-3 dollars per bag for you and your girls.

Hotel Coordinator...call and ask the hotel is tipping is required or even accepted...if it is, I''d say $50.00

Officiant...25% of her service fee

Stylist...depending on her work 15-20% of each style or of the entire day, whichever is more

DJ...depending on his service 10-15% of his fee or a flat $100.00

The Room Captain, Is the Maitre D''

and we are paying DJ company ..625.00 ... so the tip would be 10% of that ?

One other person I forgot.. The Chef.. She was very involved and during our tasting.. and tweaking a few things for us.

Does she get tipped..?

The venue has the tips and tax included.

I''ve never heard of a Maitre D'' referred to as a "room captain"...I love it...Okay, since I''m stupid...I''m suggest a handsome tip...prehaps 100.00-150.00 since he''ll be busy...

DJ @ 10% =62.50.......15% = 93.75

Chef...I would just write a really lovely thank you note gushing about her perfect service and great food!

You need to remember, some of these people are getting paid a salary and this part of their job discription. Not everyone gets tipped, even if they are going above and beyond for you.

If you''re having a staff of servers, I''d tip them 20.00 each tho.
