Stunning! Really, it''s so beautiful and the perfect setting for an intimate garden wedding. I love it! Will you be having tents? No tents? What are you doing for flowers, lighting? We need more visuals![]()
Beachrunner, I totally agree this place is perfect as is, but I was trying to get a sense of the kinds of flowers RYS might be using for centrepieces as well as how the grounds will be lit if she''s having an evening reception. I agree that she could do a tent, or even have the tables spread around the grounds as is, that''s why I was asking. I''ve only ever been to one garden reception and it was beautiful, but it was on private grounds at the bride''s aunt and uncle - they had a pool so for the evening tea lights were placed inside with really pretty lanterns sporadically placed throughout the yard for lighting, and there wasn''t a tent - just tables spread out and the deck became the dance floor - it was gorgeous!Date: 11/4/2008 3:08:17 PM

This venue doesn''t even need a lot of flowers or decorations, IMO. A tent would be very practical and probably a must-have(?), but could you imagine round tables just sporadically placed around the grounds?! I love it, can''t wait to see more photos!
this is a paintbox representation of how i would like things to be set up.Date: 11/4/2008 6:24:21 PM

Thanks so much pocahontas, I am so so excited and yes we have decided on a reception location also and have booked it. It''s a church hall that coincedently is straight across the road and all our quests can park there for the ceremony and walk across the road! It''s fantastic and it''s made the whole day alot more budget friendly but i cant wait...Date: 11/5/2008 11:18:59 PM
