I'm hoping someone has the perfect fix to help me! I have a long guard chain that I usually wear looped twice around my neck. My problem is that, with the weight of a pendant attached to the clip, the second loop generally slips tighter very quickly as the weight pulls the fob end downwards. I end up with a very short loop (kind of throttling me around the neck!) and the other loop being much longer than I'd like.
I've been feeding the doubled chain through a plastic ring noodle (secured at the back of my neck, so it's hidden by my hair), which kind of grips the two chains together a bit and stops them sliding, for a while at least. But it's not a great fix!
Does anyone else have the same problem or is it just me?! How do you solve it? Is there something you can buy to grip the two loops together more reliably? I've searched on line but the only device I've found is something to stop two separate chains from tangling if they're worn layered and I can't envisage how that would work with one, folded-over chain.
Thanks for any help you can give - I fully appreciate it's a ridiculous 'problem' in the grand scheme of things!
