Sometimes, I just want to link to a specific post and not a page in a thread, or the start of the thread. Is this possible, and if not, it would be nice to have.

For example, I wanted to link to a gemologist''s specific statements on a stone, I would have to tell someone, "here''s the link to the page, and it''s about 3 posts down" - Kind of cumbersome.

Here is a very simple way of doing it:

Click on: ''Find all posts'' in the information section under the avatar of the member who made the post
Find the topic/post that you are looking for
Click ''View post'' on the right hand side of the specific post that you want to direct to
Copy the URL in the address bar on that page (the format will look diffferent from other pages on PS and there will be a generic avatar. Only that post shows up)
Use your copied URL in the link that you use to direct others in your post

Just an observation... this isn''t quite as simple when you''re, say, looking to link to an older post from a user with x00 or x,000 posts. Not that this method is really any less complicated, but you could take this link:

https://www.pricescope.com/idealbb/dview.asp?postID=

And then mouse over or right click on the "E-mail topic" and click "Copy Link Location" (in the relevant post). In either case, you want the number after postID= in the link. Tack it on to the above URL, and you''ve got your link-to-post.
