This one looks nice. http://www.gemrite.com/cubecart/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=214

That does look pretty! I love gemrite:)

What a beauty....I''m SO tempted!

Lori

That is a beautiful gem!

Maybe it is just me, but does anyone else find pieces from GemRite pricy?

Next to Gene, Dan and Barry, yes.

Just make sure you are comparing apples to apples and what ever type of citrus fruit to the same type of citrus fruit.

Nice cutting, not too much extinction but unfortunately, too much gray for me.

The search continues...

The link doesn''t work for me. Rats. I will imagine it in my head. Blue Spinel - oooh. I love spinels.

I don''t find them expensive. The prices are pretty similar to other cutters. They had two hot pink spinels the other month that went for VERY reasonable prices. I missed out on them though

They also have some nice tsavorite on the site that seems to be a good deal.

Hey CMW, don''t you have a few blue spinels? have you posted any pics?

I might have jumped to conclusion too quickly

Whatever the price is, he cuts superbly designs and almost every gem is drool-worthy. I wish I had a deeper money-pocket...

I wish I did too Yingh! :)

That looks similar to the color (and size) of my ering stone-although mine has more gray. Mine was $180, so yes, I find that a tad bit pricey...The other one that I have from Dan is also similar in color and size, and was around $170. Both of my stones are rounds though.

Not to change the subject, but the orange-pink tourmaline on the front page was over $400 last week, and it''s down to $370 now.

I have posted this picture before but since you asked. It is 10.44 cts

Wow!!! I think that must be the one I was thinking of. Did you have it set?

Not yet. It is sitting comfortably in its gem condo waiting for me to be inspired. I''ve toyed with the idea of a mans ring for myself but I know it would just sit in my wifes jewelery box because I never wear jewelery. It is fun to bring the stone out a couple of times a month though. I know that must sound like a sin to some but what can I say.

CMW,
I'd take care of it for you.

No baby-sitting fee required either.

CMW--I'd like to see your gem condo(s)!

I will pay you a fee in order to be picked as the sitter for this ''monster'' baby!
