hello ladies. i am writing in hopes that i can prevent what happened to me from happening to you. i ordered these beautiful pocket wedding invitations from www.tgkdesigns.com after a long decision process. totally pleased with my choice based on their pleasant customer service and lovely sample presentation, i awaited the arrival of my invites in the mail. we had to DIY them partly, and while putting them together this past sunday with my mom, we found a problem---
a brown dot about the size of a pen point right there on the front of the invite, just about one inch to the right of my name.
i freaked out, of course, but out of the 100 invites, we only found it on 5. was not happy at all, but i could live with that. only 5, they were probably going to be extras anyway. HOWEVER, while stuffing the envelopes last night, i said "hey, lemme look through all of them". yeah, TWENTY ONE of them have the same brown dot. TWENTY ONE. i have no choice but to send these out, no time to reprint. i am obviously embarassed and disappointed. i just got through sending them a long email to the same effect. up to this point, they have been nothing but kind and helpful. i will be curious to see how they address my complaint.
seriously, these were not cheap. you would think someone would be looking through each piece to check for quality, but i guess that''s not how they work. i will let you all know what kind of response i get from them. they already have my payment, else i might have held back the portion covering the damaged items. they have beautiful work, but as brides, we need assurance that things will be what we planned for, so when something like this happens, i have a hard time just accepting it.
