Just received my paspaley pearl. It is breathtaking!
It's my first time buying south sea pearl, and fall in love immediately.
Sadly,I am not good at photograph, the photo couldn't show its beauty. Don't know why the pic shows a yellow tone
The pearl has a pink overtones over the silky white. so amazing :)

So, What do you have planned for your pearl. Did you buy it directly from them or did you get it from a vendor?

Wow that is just beautiful ! Can't wait to see the finished product !!

So, do you want to disclose were you did get it ? I've only seen one vendor and they don't show round South Sea Paspaley pearls.

Got from stuller. It's a pretty large jewelry&metal supplier

That is the source I was talking about also. That one looks pretty good for a Near round pearl. I've only seen their baroque pearls so this is a treat. The site says the finest pearls are considered "fine" What grade would you consider that in the general grading scale most use in the industry?

I don't really have much knowledge about paspaley pearls. This is new to me, and was pretty hesitated to buy them at beginning.
I have bought some Tahitian pearls from PP, even AAA, they have more small imperfections, and inclusions. I have to say, I was a little disappointed with them. I know a lots people in this forum love PP very much. Maybe my order was just bad luck ;(

To me this one from Stuller is pretty great, better than I was expected  I will consider it is AAA grade

I've looked at the pearls at Stuller before but been hesitent to buy them. I read a few bad reviews and it put me off a bit. But I don't see how you could really go wrong with the high end of the grading scale. (though I did wonder if that is their own grading scale..they don't use AAA-A or A-D. They use Fashion, Statement, Fine, Standard ..and I don't really know what they mean or how that compares with a proper grade. Consequently I've been loath to give it a try.... so I'm really interested in your pearl. Certainly looks good lol

Wow   that is stunning! Interested to see what you do with it, I never thought of stuller to source pearls hmmm...
