I know it''s hard on a monitor instead of in real life, but I didn''t think you guys would mind more diamonds to look at! I have not had these appraised so I don''t know the answer, but to give you reference, my engagement ring and wedding band have all G stones. My late mom gave me these earrings a few years before she died so I love them for that reason alone. They have some visible inclusions on the table but I love how warm they are. So what do you think?

L, M, N, O or P?

ETA: I agree w/Lorelei that you can see the color; they are a neat pair!

Hmmm...maybe L-N??? And you are right, we definitely do not mind looking at more diamonds

I would shoot for R S or T as the tint seems to be very pronounced, but they are lovely!

I have no clue but I like them. They look like they could almost be yellow enough to be yellow diamonds but I don''t really know much about this stuff.

Are you planning on getting the appraised to find out? I think it''d be fun to see who was close.

I was thinking closer to this as well. Perhaps just higher IMO. . . O-P

Lorelei, what is in your avatar? It looks so cute and cuddly.

Hehehe...I think it is a shampooed and groomed bunny!

Those yellow diamonds look great. I would venture that the colour is towards the end of the colour chart: U V W and the like. I''m in no way an expert but love how pronounced the colour is.

I''ve been admiring it, too. It''s an Angora bunny. Perhaps the world''s fluffiest critter...

I wonder if the bunny can see where it''s going?

Me too, I especially love those flufty, tufty ears!

I wonder if the veterinarian ever mistakes the bunny''s puckered face for it''s other pucker ...

I agree.

I would love to own them and I would reset into YG settings....mhhh.

What a lovely memento from your mother.

I''m going to say S but I like them very much. What a lovely color.

Are they really yellow in person, or more towards champagne? I would guess a C-1 or C-2 champagne color maybe...

Whatever they are, I like them!

Thanks ladies! I was thinking M-P or so too. I am going to have them appraised soon and will certainly let you know what they come up with. They are currently set in YG and I really love them. The pictures are pretty close - they look more yellow than champagne in person.
LOL at the bunny conversation. They are very cute!

The tint is very pretty (I have no idea what color grade they would be).

I would say anywhere from N and lower. They''re beautiful though-I love the warmth of them.

The yellow gold could also be shadowing the stone. I have seen this several times, however, that doesn''t mean that these particular earrings aren''t of a "fancy" shade.

Either way, they are loving. Once they are on the ears, color is pretty much lost anyway....

old school top brown or top light brown would be my guess.

Just wondering Storm, I always understood it to be TB or TLB faced up whitish, but you see the brown tint from the side more.

depends on the size and where in the range it falls.
In melee TLB will usually face up whitish which is why its used in a lot of lower cost jewelery.
both ranges are huge however.

Thanks Storm!

using a more modern scale they might be C1.. but from a picture no one can say....
