Waiting not so patiently on CADs from DK - Show me your projects to tide me over!

I have an antique style cluster halo in the works and I’m waiting on CADs from DK. I told him I was in no hurry whatsoever, and once he’s free after the Valentine’s Day chaos we could get started. I’m not a patient person by nature, so can everyone share their projects here to keep me occupied?

I have 2 projects in the works! A necklace and a ring, both with DK.

1 carat lab marquise necklace
I didn’t actually take any pictures of it before I sent it, I just took a video so these are just a couple of still shots from the video.




And a ring... set with a 2.72 transitional lab diamond I had recut from a MRB. David said 3 weeks and it's a bit past that so i am sure it will be any day now!







And what the heck.. I'll throw this in too even though its not lab diamonds, it is David soooo I'll say it counts, 18K earth mined melee.




Care to share any inspiration pics for your project??

Well, since you're waiting, I just got what is the final CAD from Maggie & Sam at Debebians for my 8mm OEC diamond ring that will be surrounded with a tight halo of round brilliants .
Inspired by a mutual friend of ours, and I am H aPP y!
Waiting can be fun, and it won't be too much longer

All of these are going to be STUNNING! I cannot wait to see that ring, and I'm so excited marquise diamonds are having their moment again right now. Do you have a design in mind for it? I'll post my inspo pics shortly.

This is going to be so gorgeous! Mine will also be a halo, but more of a cluster style with a larger chunky halo. I wanted a very antique vibe, even though my diamonds will all be MRBs.

The waiting hasn't been too bad, I'm just really visual so the CAD is the best part for me!

That necklace is going to be such a great everyday piece! I have a 1ct round pendant from Lightbox that I literally never take off. I’ll be sure to post a thread when my CADs come so I can get some advice on it! This is my first custom piece I’m actually following through with so I’m kinda nervous I’ll screw it up. Lol

thank you - I'm excited about the simple every day necklace!

Poor Amy, i had them do the CAD over 11 times.. LOL
BUT - it's absolutely perfect now! I got it in wax to make sure and I'm just nervous and excited that it will translate to gold well!

Everyone here will be happy to help! And no one gets offended either, like I feel like sometimes I didn't like peoples ideas which made me narrowing down what it was I DID want easier

I have a 1 carat Lightbox solitaire necklace too -- l o v e it, and this marquise necklace will be n I c e.
Love the inspiration photo for your ring! All yellow gold and all diamonds will be big and sparkly .
I don't come very often, but I'll sneak back to see your finished piece .
