You might consider taking some classes in gemology or at least conducting online research yourself, as there are some really good online sources. For example, the Gemology Project has reams of info on various minerals and gem types, along with origins, use of inclusions to aid in identification, lapidary and faceting info, and more.
I suggest this because of your 56 total posts, 16 of them have been threads asking us to identify stones or jewelry and provide values. It might help to know that Pricescope is a consumer board.
