My polling place is small, and has only two booths. I went around 10:30 and by the time I finished signing the roll book, one of them was empty, so I guess my actual wait time was zero...all in all, I was in and out within about 3 minutes

I just realized this: My polling place had four booths and I voted in the one on the faaaaar LEFT! LOL!

LOL. I was on the left side of the gym if that counts.

My town is about 50k strong. We had a 15 minute wait at 6:30 am and the ballot box said there were 150ish votes cast before us.

My wait time inside was under 15 minutes but finding parking was tough, it was at a small church in a residential area without loads of street parking.

I live in NYC. Got to my polling place at 9 and was done by 9:05. It was very organized.

It took us 5 minutes to walk up the street to our polling place, a minute for the person in line in front of us to realize he wasn''t registered and be pulled aside to look into it further, and 10 minutes waiting for my husband to vote after me because he forgot who he wanted to vote for on some of the local stuff and took forever trying to remember!

We got in line 20 minutes before the polls opened and there were only ~20 people ahead of us. We waited a total of 40 minutes, not bad at all!

I live in Los Angeles, and I waited 25 minutes. Each district in LA County is divided to take no more than 1000 voters.

In Orlando I got in line at 2pm and left at 4:15pm. The line was longer when I left than when I got in line. They only had one machine and it was extremely slow.

South Bay, Southern California - I always go after lunch, but before 3:30. Only one other person in line ahead of me and the whole process took about 5 minutes with no wait.

I voted early, and from the time we got in line to the time we got into the car, it was 26 minutes.

I live in a pretty rural area in Michigan, and expected at least somewhat of a wait, since I waiited until 5:30 to vote after I got out of work. I was suprised though- I didn''t have to wait at all because there was no line.

Town of 35,000 north of Boston.

Almost all booths were taken, but no wait at 4pm. It went smoothly.

In Orlando, my wait was 90 mins. I got to my polling location at 7:10 a.m.

My wait was approximately 15 minutes, in West Los Angeles (California). A section of us (those allocated to the "green table") were rushed to the front of the line about 10 minutes after we got there, I'm not sure why. Otherwise we would've waited about 1 hour (still not bad).

We arrived at 7:50am PT.

Just left my polling place at 3:15 PST in L.A. There was a less than a five minute wait

My fiance went at 645AM and waited for over an hour; by the time he left just before 8am, the line had extended even further around the block. (Los Angeles)

When I drove by his polling place at 2pm, there was no line outside.

Based on prior experience, I had hit my polling place just before noon; there was no line, 12 or 14 voting machines, and 4 people currently using the machines.

I voted about 2:30 this afternoon. I was in and out in 10 minutes tops! It was great!

The hubby and I got to our polling station at 4:30pm, and we waited less than 5 minutes. Super fast, very smooth process! Everyone was well behaved and polite.

There was no wait when I went at around 9am. There were a few polling places within 1 miles of each other, so maybe they spread the voters out between the locations. I''m in Los Angeles County, CA.

I''m in a rural community, 5 minutes in and out. I voted around 11am and was number 544 at my polling place.

10 minutes MAYBE. There was no one there. Got my free startbucks though!

I got there at 4:00 this afternoon and there was no wait at all.

I''m in a ''burb of SD, CA. Arrived about 3:50pm, one person in front of me in line. Some confusion over my name (for some reason, even though I''ve filled out the form twice, I''m still listed under my maiden name), out by 4:05. There are 4 polling places within 5 or so miles of my home.

Double post.

i walked straight in, voted, and walked straight out. HIGHLY unusual at my polling location, but i went at 4 pm, so maybe that helped since most weren''t off work yet.

I voted at 7:30 a.m. and I was number 37 at my tiny polling place in our wee little town! LOL!

I didn''t have to wait at all--I went at 6:30 pm and nobody was there.
