Not to hijack the forum again, but I promised I''d try to post a couple of pics of my now Fiancee''s (that''s right!) ring. Here''s a hand shot and one of the ring in sunlight.

Thanks again to everyone who took the time to help me with my project (even those who humoured me)

She is in LOVE with the ring. One of her friends even had her boyfriend contact me for ring related advice after she saw the ring. (If you knew me, you''d think that was really funny.)

Ooh I remember this! It''s gorgeous and looks absolutely lovely on her. Congratulations to you both.

If you don''t mind, here''s a link to the earlier thread with more pics: Voila!

Perfection. Really. Just stunning.

What a beautiful ring - it''s very feminine, and I love that color of pink. Quest did a great job - I''ve dealt with them before, and their attention to detail is remarkable. Congratulations to you both!

THANK YOU FOR THE PHOTOS, BUT WE NEED MORE....PLEASE!!!!

That beauty is the perfect fit on her finger and deserves more screen time.

Thanks. I love validation! A lot!

I''ll post more pics tonight after work, but I gotta ask (And I''m only asking out of curiosity. No other reason) :

Why do folks want to see so many pics? My sense is that most of you have a deeper appreciation for the nuances of a stone/piece, than a relative newbie like myself. So is it scrutiny, appreciation? An obsession with colored stones, perhaps

a) Is it that you want to see the many "moods" and the cut of the stone?
b) The craftsmanship of the setting.?
c) Is it the fit?

I''ll post more shots tonight, but please quench my curiosity.

Thanks again for the kind words.

It's called eye candy - nothing soothes the eye better than looking at pretty gemstones, or pretty settings or both.

Hand shots are to see the the fit and how it might look in person (real life). Or maybe it's to imagine that's our hand wearing the ring.

Ditto. Plus your ring in particular is just soooooooo beautiful, like a piece of art.

For me it''s that the two shots you posted don''t show enough of the detail of the setting. And another hand shot showing her full hand would be nice too!

Yeah a little jewelry obsession...

alright. you asked for it.
