Visual difference between 5 pointers and 10 pointers????

I wanted to know what is the mm difference between the two and if someone could show me some examples. Thanks

2.4 mm vs 3 mm

doesn''t sound like a lot, but going up to 3 mm is a 56% difference in area.

56% difference in area but, all else equal, going from 1/2 to 1 carat causes a 300-400% jump in price. from my experience, the price really starts to jump between 60 and 70 points. if you can find something around 65 points, thats the best price/carat, from what i''ve seen

never mind, i misread the subject of the thread and assumed you were talking about 1/2 vs full carat.
