Visible Inclusion Sapphire Opinions

Hello! I just purchased an engagement ring where we picked the setting and stone separately. When viewing the sapphire stone I noticed an inclusion but it seemed faint and not that noticeable to the naked eye. After the stone was set however it became a lot more noticeable. I really like the cut, color, and saturation of the stone but not sure on the inclusion. You will see it on the bottom part of the stone. Please give your feedback and thank you!!

Natural gemstones are rarely perfect. In fact inclusions can be comforting in that they indicate a natural gemstone, as opposed to lab grown.
Inclusions can be personal. Some people find that any blemish is all they keep seeing. Others enjoy the inclusion as part of the gemstone that makes it natural and original and theirs.
Inclusions that dull the sparkle, crystal imperfections (fissures) that affect the gems stability and perhaps colour zoning (though many people actually see this as a desirable thing ie parti coloured sapphires) are more likely deal breakers.
With your sapphire, it is a tiny blemish, really barely noticeable unless you look for it, but thats to my eye.
How much of a perfectionist is your fiancée? Has she expressed concern that ”her eye just keeps going back and seeing it and it’s annoying/disappointing/upsetting her”?
That’s the real answer to your question.

It looks more like color zoning to me, which is very common in sapphire in my opinion. Does it look better when it is on finger?

I personally think it is normal, and I am looking forward to sapphire experts opinions.

Also, the setting is very pretty

I am not sure what it is but it definitely keeps drawing my eye to it, so it would be something that bothers me.

Does it have a wonky bottom? If so then the cut is uneven and that can affect the look from the top. Sometimes adding a metal plate beneath the stone helps to minimize the visual impact. I agree with @chrono that would bother me too.

An inclusion that’s more noticeable upon being set?
I would wonder if you viewed the loose sapphire in the same lighting that you are viewing the set stone in?
And are we talking about an inclusion or a (tilt)window/zoning?
My feedback is solely related to your budget on the stone/specs you currently have and then what’s obtainable for you otherwise on that same budget.

Is the inclusion just more noticeable since setting, or did it actually get bigger during setting? If it was feather, I would be concerned about it having expanded during setting. Otherwise, it wouldn't bother me (as long as I knew the person I was giving it to isn't going to be bothered).

Thank you all for the responses so far! When I viewed the stone by itself it was much harder to notice, it may have been the lighting. I am attaching photos of the stone by itself before setting. The last photo is on top of the setting but still loose. It seems to have gotten more opaque. It draws my eye especially in sunlight so I am leaning towards getting a different stone and keeping the setting.
