I’m trying to find out more of this piece it was found by my uncle in a rich part of town many years ago maybe about 13 now? so there is so many unknowns that goes with it and I was hoping someone somewhere knows about it.
As you must know from your research already, the answer to "Is this Tiffany?" is almost always "no."
The design is a bit unusual -- like chains of bones held together with drops of blood. I suppose it could be bamboo but, if it is, it's an unnatural rendition of bamboo.
The "make" does not seem like Tiffany-caliber for a one-off (which this must be, if it were Tiffany). By that I mean that the welds look sloppy(ish) and the backs and prong-work on the mountings look imprecise.
I am not an expert so I can not say, definitively. Hallmark or not, I would not buy this as a Tiffany. I have one old Tiffany piece and a family member has another.
Resellers bring everything into "estate sales" in the "rich part of town" -- you can never tell what the actual estate sale is. That story makes me suspicious from the get-go.
You can reverse-image search on a section after you have placed it on a white background. Or search Tiffany bamboo ruby...
EDIT: I did the search myself and Tiffany does seem to make some fakey-looking (i.e., not resembling actual bamboo) dumbbell-shaped bamboo bangles so that alone would not rule it out. (EDIT again: the Cartier versions look like actual bamboo to my eye!) I did not see any that are two in parallel but i only did a quick look. Oh wait, this isn't a first-post curse, I hope! Assuming it is not, welcome!
