Vintage settings

When I finally get around to resetting the stone in this ring, what should I do with the setting? It’s very pretty but too tall for me so I won’t use it. Would anyone buy it or should I scrap it? It’s white gold. I hate to scrap it....it’s a vintage Leo Ingwer setting and has a lot of detail.

I wouldn't even know how much it would be worth as an empty setting. Any ideas?

Ok, will do - I would be very happy to see it get a new stone. It's about a size 6.75. I might have a jeweler take the stone out tomorrow so I can finally see it by itself.

Thank you so much, I switch that ring out with another frequently but it is one of my favorites.
