Vintage Sapphire earrings and not so vintage!

I just received these sapphire and diamond earrings off of an Ebay seller and they are just lovely! The sapphires are not as blue as in my photos so I already ordered a pair of lovely blue sapphires to put in there place. If they don''t work, I won''t be disappointed as the sapphires in them are pretty nice. I just wanted a more cornflower blue. I was eager to try the earrings on so forgive my sweaty locks. I just did an hour and a half Zumba class!

I purchase these earrings awhile back. They use to be post style earrings. My jeweler suggested putting them on leverbacks so that the sapphires could move better. Good idea! I love the color of these sapphires! I considered taking the sapphires out and put them into the new vintage earrings, however, I did not want to ruin them, also, they may be too big.

Thank you! They are .40 and .41 ct each in 18kwg cross prong settings. They are Whiteflashes ACA diamonds and settings!! I highly recommend!!
