I’ve had this dinner ring(?) for years now, bought from an estate sale because I loved the details (especially the little leaves on the side. Is there a word for this? Filigree?).

It didn’t really come with any info though and I’d love to hear thoughts and learn from folk here about when it might be from? The diamonds look like oecs and there’s an 18k mark but that’s all I got lol. The top is definitely starting to yellow a bit. Looks like it was cast based on the back?

Any and all speculation welcome! I’m going to my first antique show in nyc next month and would love to pick up a bit more of the lingo before then so I know how to describe things.

I love rings from this era and with this fabrication. I’m wondering about die struck as that was such a common method back then? And the delicate details aren’t really possible with other methods. But look forward to hearing what the experts have to say.
