I was visiting a local antique mall today.
There was a small jelly jar containing costume jewelry for $14.
I always look at these, because sometimes treasures are inside. I could see this ring, and I was pretty sure it was the real thing, not costume.
I got it home, and it tests 14k. It's got some wear and missing two stones. But I'm happy to have it!
I will replace the stones soon.

Here's the jar it came in. All vintage costume pins, except for the ring!

What a find! So it was $14 for the whole jar and you aren’t allowed to open it before purchasing??

Yes, there was clear packing tape over the lid, which you can see in my photo.
Most jewelry jars I see are like this, you buy the whole jar. It's fun to dump it out at home and sort through all of it.
I don't buy these sealed jars unless I can see something good inside.
