Vintage Jewelry with Synthetic Colored Stones

I find myself lately becoming enamored of antique CS rings with large, synthetic stones. They're fun, and more importantly for my current economic circumstances, affordable. Champagne on a beer budget, if you will. Does anyone have such a ring that you care to share info on? Here's one I've been watching, for example - 10ct synthetic blue spinel.

This was my husband's grandmother's ring. It is vintage, 10k white gold and I believe the stone is synthetic.

I have two antique/vintage rings with synthetic center stones. This one is my favorite- it is a synthetic spinel.

I think this is "vaseline glass".

I have this vintage 10k green ring. Dad bought it for me when I was 12, back in 1976. I think it is from the 1940's.
I'm not sure if it is Vaseline or Uranium glass.
I also have these other two loose "gems", of the same color.
