I have a 13" necklace with a pendant. The pendant is marked on the back 10k. There are no jewelers marks on it I can see. It is in a box that has Walter Sperling Jeweler & Opticians, Seneca, Kan. I am trying to find out about this piece as far as age and value. I understand it has value as gold, but I believe this peice is very old. Can anyone help[ me out?

The pendant is pretty, probably dating to the 30's or 40's!

There's no way of knowing if the necklace is original to the box. So the jeweler's info may have nothing to do with the piece.
The 13 inch chain tells me that it is meant for a little girl.
The space in the middle of the pendant is where an initial could be engraved.
There is a missing jump ring where the pendant attaches to the chain, so the chain might not be original, either.
Nice find!
