So I was sitting in the kitchen tonight talking to my Dad on the phone about the wedding and I glanced at the china cabinet and looked at (for perhaps the millionth time) the little vintage wedding cake couple that I have in there. It''s just a simple ceramic bride and groom, about 3 inches tall, that I got at some random estate sale, but I just love it''s vintagey-ness (yes, of course that''s a word...). But as much as I love it, I love the Ann Wood bird toppers even more and plan to try my hand at making a set of my own for the cake. But anyway, the thought came to me that it would be adorable to go out and find vintage cake toppers and get one for every table. They''d all be different and funky and cute and I think they''d add a little romantic touch to the tables. Plus, I took a look on ebay, and they''re really inexpensive! They had all kinds of adorable ones! So I''m really excited about this idea! Just need to finalize the guest list and figure out how many tables we''re going to have. But I think I''m going to have such fun hunting for them. What do you ladies think?

really cute idea, I was thinking of maybe finding some vintage ones off the internet to put on top of my cake. I really like the idea of getting a bunch of them and putting them on the tables though, I hadn''t thought of that.
