Victor Canera Evelyn -- how durable?

All pave rings need to be treated with care. I would add that any diamond ring should be as well! Even a diamond in a solitaire setting can be chipped! Victor makes outstanding quality pave rings and many people here have them. So as far as quality goes, his rings (and other jewelry) are excellent. But anyone with a pave ring should not wear it when doing housework, yardwork, working out, etc. My e-ring is not pave and I definitely take it off before doing any of those things.

Thank you, Diamondseeker! This info is very helpful.

Please read my explanation here about why pave is fragile. And the two different styles of pave (one less fragile than the other):

Yes it does need to be babied. Don't wear it to work out, don't wear it to bed, make sure you get it checked out regularly (or learn to do it yourself with a loupe and a toothpick).

That said, Victor's pave is top quality. But that still means common sense wearing. That said, the Evelyn is not a halo, and that's a good thing. I think it's a sensible design. Keep in mind that there might be re-sizing restrictions and discuss those with Victor before you commit.

Thank you, Gypsy! Your thoughtful advice is so helpful.
