Victor Canera Emilya petal profile yellow radiant

I wanted to share with the PS community the reset Victor Canera and his team recently did for me. I had not seen anything quite like this before on his page and was nervous going into it, but it came out very elegant and I love it. I wanted to share in case anyone is looking to do something similar. We added the yellow gold enhancement cup and Victor did the petal profile with no cathedral shank, so all the petals can be seen.

The diamond is a 3.03 Y-Z VS1 radiant that my husband surprised me with for our 5 year wedding anniversary. It was originally in a three stone setting with traps, then this horribly overdone chunky halo setting. I felt it got lost on my hand in the original setting, and the second one was too gaudy for my taste, and also very heavy. I guess the third time is a charm! Here are some pics..

Yummmmmmm! The previous settings were ok, but you're right that this reset really does make the stone pop more. And great choice to ditch the cathedral to showcase each petal!

A beautiful ray of sunshine! And I agree, the third setting is the best, although number two was also a huge improvement. The diamond was completely swamped in the original setting with all the extras. It looks so much bigger & brighter now
