First off, thanks a bunch everyone for your help and guidance in this process. I've narrowed it down to a few diamonds, really just looking for the one that will sparkle or shine the most. (isn't everyone :) Here are the links, thanks!

Oh, tried to make hyperlinks but it said I didn''t have permission?

Thanks Dreamer! So which one do you like the best? :)

Number 1 looks good, I like the small table personally and it scores a 1.1 on the HCA.

Number 2 is nice too and is a true H&A diamond. I''d rather have the G color myself, but those ACAs are really really gorgeous.

The James Allen diamond is also nice, and a good price to boot. They are a good vendor, I am not sure if they have an upgrade policy though? If it matters. I would still rather have a G color, but I color is also very nice and will look very white in most circumstances.

The Blue nile diamonds can''t really be judged easily since they do not have images. The first you cannot see the numbers on the cert, so you don''t really know enough. The numbers of the other look good but without images it is hard to tell. Still BN hasa good return policy so you can always take a chance. But I would go with one of the other vendors just for ease.

What are you ideal specs and budget? Those diamonds vary a fair bit in color and clarity...

Is #1 eye-clean to your standards? If so, that''d be a great pick. The others from WF and JA are very good also. I agree with dreamer that you need to set your priorities for color, clarity, and budget.

James Allen does have an upgrade policy, though it is different than WF''s, so if that would ever possibly be a consideration, make sure to review those carefully.

Thanks for the feedback Dreamer. My budget is $3000 for the setting and diamond but it looks like I may be a little over if I go with Whiteflash. I really don''t have any specific criteria, just looking for the best cut, then the highest other 3 "C''s" for around $2200. Is it safe to say the 2 diamonds by whiteflash and the James Allen diamond will all shine/sparkle/etc. the same amount?

Here are the 2 settings I have picked out, which do you guys like the best?

I''m going to be making the purchase tomorrow, all opinions and input are greatly appreciated!

Anyone else? Thanks, it''s coming down to crunch time.

Thanks everyone once again. So it looks like the first whiteflash diamond should be a safe choice to go with?

just to throw this back into the mix, the blue nile signature round diamonds still don''t have a *picture* like WF, but they provide the GCAL certificate which has an image and something along the lines of an ASET and light performance. Fuzzy certificate and not the best, but it gives you all the numbers too.

For example http://www.bluenile.com/round-diamond-1-carat-or-less-signature-ideal-cut-i-color-vs2-clarity_LD01550064
this one comes up a 1.8 on HCA, and is VS2. it''s an I though.
