Vendors, PLEASE help with a small item, I'm very frustrated.

Hi all. I have a 1ct pair of stud earrings. I don't wear them alot because of the screw backing. I want to convert them to dangle, in a simple white gold basket setting. I have the basket settings. What I need is the leverback portion. And I want the leverback portion to be set with diamonds. So just a simple diamond set leverback with my dangle studs. I can not find leverbacks with quality diamonds. I did find some earrings that had 30pts of diamonds on the leverbacks, but sent them back instantly when they arrived because of mismatched diamonds and 'dirty' diamonds, although they were supposed to be SI1. PLEASE HELP. I just need the leverbacks. I want the diamonds to be white and VS quality.

I believe Stuller makes settings like that. Any jeweler should be able to pull out a catalog and order a pair for you ....

Hi Circe, I would like to be able to just order them on line and have them sent to me. My jeweler is about 30 miles away and I am not able to get to there at this time. :((

Ravinmad, I like those. I emailed the vendor to see if they have these with a loop, or can do it with a loop for attachment. Waiting to hear.

Thanks to Ravinmade I found what I was looking for. BGD were wonderful and patient with me. The diamond hoops are from BGD, and the diamond dangles (1/2 ct each) I already had. Here is the result:

Ya know, I'm an old lady now (had a BD yesterday), and don't like taking ear shots, or any other shots for that matter, but anyway, here they are (please excuse the gray hair and no makeup). :o

OMG, I love these! :love: I want to do something similar for my mom, but her studs are princess cuts. Parents' 40th wedding anniversary is in May, maybe I can convince my dad to do this... :cheeky:

Those are beautiful!! I thought the same thing about those huggies from BGD. You really can dress them up and end up with very blingy earrings for a reasonable price.

Although I only received the lever backs yesterday, I am LOVING them and I know I will be wearing them alot, unlike the studs with screw backs. But I do have another pair of studs that are a little smaller and set in yellow gold, with no screw backs, if the mood hits to wear studs. :bigsmile: I know my photos are fuzzy, but the BGDs are super sparkly and perfectly set. I was just so lucky that they had those huggies with loops at the bottom.

Those turned out beautiful! I would like to do something kind of the same but I think I just want plain metal lever backs
to make them more casual.
