VCA question

Does anyone know if VCA previously made the vintage Alhambra with the bail like this? I have their vintage Alhambra necklace already (which I just gave up to VCA to fix the secure the loose prongs). I’d like to buy this for my mother in law or to have it made into a bracelet for myself. I don’t like the sweet Alhambra bracelet or the 5 motif bracelet.

I’m wondering because I want to know if it was altered after the fact - or if they ever made it in a different style bail. I have an appointment to view this at my local preloved jewellery store.

Me too I only started purchasing about 8 years ago so I don’t know everything. I’d really like a bracelet as I just don’t like the sweet Alhambra size.

I don’t like the 5 motif it’s too much. But the sweet is too small. A one motif Alhambra is ideal for me.

I have the same pendant necklace but it's designed so the chain is directly attached to the motif in two places. I have the matching earrings too.

I have a MOP sweet bracelet and it's annoyingly small. Someday when I'm feeling reckless I'll probably get the 5 motif vintge bracelet.

I have never seen an authenticated vintage pendant with a bail of that type. Also, the pendant in your photos also looks to have different prongs securing the MOP, the gold beading around the motif looks to be applied differently than the vintage pendants from the VCA boutique, and the side profile of the motif is also not VCA standard. In your shoes, I'd shop around for something a little more genuine, if that's what matters to you.
