VC Emilya settings- anyone have problems with pave popping out?

Lots here on PS have this setting- just wondering with normal wear and tear have people run into issues losing tiny melee diamonds? I am seriously considering putting halo around stone to help protect girdle and just wondering how setting holds up over the long term.

I haven't had any problems with my melee diamonds popping out and this is with me resizing my ring twice! I hope this helps you
