Thanks medigirl, the photos of course do not do the setting justice at all!!!
The e-ring and band do sit flush with only minimal rubbing on the prongs, something i have become used to since the diamonds on my wedding band are more exposed compared to for example a bezel set. I hope you get everything sorted out with your setting and you DH does not go nuts in the meantime ha ha
