Varying shaped halos?

Does anyone have a halo ring where the halo is a different shape then the stone? Like a princess with an asccher halo or a a round with a square halo? Do you think it makes the diamond stand out more? Post photos or links if you have them.

I have seen halos like that, the diamond tends to take on the shape of the halo I think. I think Nicole Ritchie has a round in a square halo, let me see if I can find the pic.

I don''t think that it makes the main diamonds shape stand out if I recall correctly. But maybe there are other styles that do.

when I first saw a pic of her ring, I was very surprised the main diamond was round

I have one. My halo is an octagonal shape and my diamond is round. I love the fit and look

The top ring has a round diamond in the middle, but you have to look closely to tell that is a round in there (to me anyway)

Hello Sizzle,

One of my closest friends has an octagon halo setting with an under 1 ct RB and it is so beautiful it is actually the ring the inspired my reset. The two different shapes stand out and compliment at the same time.

Sizzle, I have a lot of princesses in halo saved on my pc because I was thinking of doing one awhile back. Sometimes I still debate on it, but I worry that I won''t love the look after years go by. I am used to a classic setting like your own, so that is where my head is at. However, the attached setting is from Maytal Hannah and is my #1 pic if I ever decide to take the plunge!
