Vanna K dingy setting?

So I just bought this setting off eBay. It is a Vanna K setting. I really love the design, but when I compare it to my other settings, the overall look appears dingy. I don't know if it appears that way Bc it needs a rodium dipping or if Bc the design has a lot of metal. The diamonds are g-h according to her website. So I don't think the diamonds are a tinted nor do they look dull. Any ideas?

Are you sure it's gold and not platinum? Platinum develops a patina with time and can look scratched or even mattefied with wear and tear. And some alloys are whiter than others. If it's platinum, it may need a good polishing. If it's gold it may need to be re-rhodium plated.
