Value of Diamond Ring...

I purchased a 1/3rd carat diamond ring about six months ago. I had planned to propose to my girlfriend at the time with it, but things ended up not working out. Needless to say, I now have a Diamond Ring here with no use for it. I am interested in selling it but I am worried I am not going to get what I paid for it back. The Retail price on the ring was $699, I paid $499. It is a 1/3rd carat round cut diamond in a 14k gold ring. Any ideas as to what I will be able to sell this for?

Try running a search on Pricescope for stones similar to what your specs are (e.g. round brilliant, .33 carats, color/clarity), and see what pricing is online for a similar un-mounted stone. Then maybe try to sell it on eBay or through a jewelry auction, etc.
