Hi folks - recently was gifted these two rings and don't know where to begin valuating them - they are too small for me and I don't believe there's any easy way to resize. The pattern on the yellow gold with diamond baguettes continues around the whole ring. Thoughts as to how to go about assessing value? Appreciated! signal-2020-02-29-114359.jpg signal-2020-02-29-114355.jpg signal-2020-02-29-114350.jpg signal-2020-02-29-114341.jpg signal-2020-02-29-114337.jpg signal-2020-02-29-114333.jpg signal-2020-02-29-114329.jpg

You can compare them on eBay. If you want a fast and easy route, take them to a pawn shop and pretend you plan to pawn. They will diamond test and weigh and offer you one fraction of the actual value. They might just offer you gold weight. So Take that amount and multiply by five and you might have a fair value. But keep in mind eBay shoppers are cheap and are almost as bad as the pawn shop. Have you cleaned them? Maybe clean them and post pictures on loop troop

Firstly the rings need a good cleaning. If you are on good terms with a local jeweller they might pop them in the ultrasonic for free for you.
After that It will help if you can ascertain the approximate total carat weight per ring, get the gold weight and then check over the diamonds for any obvious chips or flaws.
You can use ebays “sold” listings to get an idea of what similar ring have sold for. Your search would be, for eg, 14ct diamond cluster or cocktail ring.
The first ring is nicer, more diamonds and better style but it can’t be resized so that limits the buyer pool. The second ring can be made larger or smaller so will appeal to a large number of potential buyers.
Don’t sell them to a Pawnshop or a Gold buyer, they will give you a fraction of their worth. Selling preloved jewellery yourself isn’t too hard but you won’t get “retail price”. You will be able to get more than what a pawnbroker offers.

The thing about your pic and that pic is all in the details— the diamond quality and carat weight is not evident in yours. Can you post new pics after your clean the diamonds?

Ok. Thank you. I will.:)
