Hello! I am new to the board - I am looking at a platinum setting at a great price, but it is an online purchase and I don't know what size rock it will accept. I am wanting to buy a 1/2 - 3/4 Princess cut. The measurements are as follows on the ring:
Top opening is about 5mm x 4.5mm
The height from base of prongs to top is about 6mm or a little less.
The bottom shank (?) is 1mm, and steps up (?) to 4mm - I do not know what this is...
Is this too big/too small for my diamond choice?
Please post or e-mail me any info, as I have to buy this today. If this would work for my diamond size preference it would be a lifesaver. Thanks for any info...
