Urgent!! Opinions on the CAD

Something just doesn’t seem right to me on the CAD. I like this but something seems a little off? Maybe it’s the the fact that it isn’t “real” looking. What would y’all change here? I find this looks a little saucer like and smashed. Maybe it is in my head. It will be a 1.7 center stone, size 6 ring, white gold...It will have a band on either side. Also attached is the inspiration. But in the inspo the diamond is set way too high up and is a 1.24 carat.

It really is just design aesthetics. I think the shank should be tapered as it approaches the center diamond to highlight it. Also the prongs are rather large. Just my two cents.

They said the prongs only look like that bc of the rendering and will not be that large. And I think that is something I am missing...tapering. Hmm. Thanks for input. Do you have an example by chance.

It really just a design preference. For example. the bridge here is as thick as the band and the two shank are tapered.

Gotcha. Thanks. I was thinking something different lol. Glad I asked. Do you think the one I posted is “tall” enough? For me, it looks smashed lol. I like height but obviously don’t want it towering. Also, I’ve seen people get angled halos? Do you think my halo will look like a flying saucer? Lol
