The angles are complimentary and it is a good size. Without a photo or video, we can't tell, but the presence of the knot (not a great type of inclusion) would not be a favorable inclusion. It also has clouds and "additional clouds" in the clarity make me worry if this stone will look hazy. Your vendor and husband need to carefully screen this visually for any impact from those clouds.

If you want suggestions for other stones, we can post a few. From a quick look, the prices on this is good assuming that clouds are not an issue.

ok, it is a diamond from the jame allen.com website .. i can add the link for the close up view they have on the site, is this what you are referring to? What other types of photos should i add in addition to the one in my post?

Very nice small table, numbers on certificate look good from angles perspective... U got a good find there, please check with the vendor if the diamond is eye clean. If so please ask for aset / IS images to find if there are any light leakages and post them here and yes please put it on hold immediately if you want to move forward as someone else might end up buying it.

Put it on hold asap. Then, request an Idealscope image.

Agreed with the above. That is a beautiful diamond! 40.8/35.0 PA/CA is one of my favorite combos in GIA-graded diamonds, and the cut looks extremely nice just judging by the video alone. If IdealScope image looks decent, this would be a fantastic buy for the price.

so the rep may not have been exaggerating?? Thank you all so much for your input!

No I don't think so. Also if for some reason you don't like the stone you could always return it and get something else. But I have a feeling you will find it good.
