I've got a BGD Grace e-ring set with a 1.21 RB center stone. I'd like to be able to upgrade the stone in the future (say 5 years from now?) for a bigger RB stone (nothing bigger than 2ct). Would I have to buy a new setting completely or could they take the same e-ring I have now and set a new stone? My ring is made in platinum.
Also, my ring is 2.5mm in width as is my matching BGD Grace wedding band. I'd like to get a matching eternity band to wear with these. I may have to go custom unless BGD has something that fits EXACTLY with my Grace set. I'm planning on getting the eternity band in the next few months. Would an upgrade to a center stone in the future in any way affect the fit of the eternity band (assuming that I get an upgrade and keep the same Grace setting)? I would have to spend all that money on an eternity band this year and then have it not fit against an upgraded Grace e-ring in the future.
Thanks.
