Specs: 1.74, G, SI2 (eye-clean), plat setting, Radiant shape

Thanks so much for your comments! It''s thanks to the forum members for directing me to the jeweler GOG, as well as providing useful and friendly advice during our search. It all ended very happily!!

And oops, I forgot to put my ring size is 4.75.

love it!!! I love the 1 1/2 carat size, it is definately big, but wearable everyday...although I know this is all a matter of opinion...haha



Could you take a pic of the palm side of your hand? I want to see how thick the bands are.

Feb2003: Yes, Vatche. It has a lot of weight; my first ering was dainty and I found I prefer girth.

Brighspot: Yes, the entire ering is new. My last setting was a knife-edge and it was a little drowned out by my wedding band. I''m really enjoying the new look!

I LOVE your ring

I admit I have the same design, but with a smaller stone. I love the simplicity that brings out the stone. Is it a radiant or a princess? It looks very similar to my radiant...

Hi- Yes, it is a Radiant but truthfully I can''t tell the difference most times! I''ve seen so many different diamonds lately that I feel dizzy. Anyway, great eyes and thanks for yor comment!!

The setting reminds me of the Lucida- which is one of my (many) favorites!

But this is your original wedding band, right? If so, you did a fabulous job finding an e-ring setting & stone to compliment it! They''re a perfect match!

Yes, we''d gone to Tiffany''s for the Lucida initially but the premium was through the roof (~$30K)! The service there is top-notch, champagne in a private room for an individual consultation etc. but you certainly pay for it!!
