Updates to an inherited sapphire ring

Hello everyone - I am in need of some inspiration and pictures of people's sapphire rings. My English mother-in-law gave me a 3 ring sapphire and some clip on earrings about 12 years ago when her husband died. The ring was in yellow gold and the band was so thin that I had in reset in an identical platinum band because I didn't want to change it to much out of respect for her. She recently passed away and the ring has gotten kind of small so I was looking to change the band so I have an alternate ring to wear with my wedding band. Most sapphire examples I find online have a halo in Princess Diana style or they are in similar 3-stone rings. I am looking for anyone who may have a sapphire or 'like' oval stone approximately 2 carats in a graduated diamond pave band. I was trying to create one on Tacori with the Royal T as an example although it is kind of out of my price range. I found a similar one on Debebians that didn't have as much detail as the Tacori one but still looked pretty nice that was closer to the $3000 range. I was thinking to use the 2 diamonds from the 3 stone ring and the 6 diamonds from the earrings with alternating sapphires to give it an update. I could then use the small sapphires from the clip on earrings in the future for a station necklace or pendant. Anyone with some ideas or examples would be great!! Thanks!!

Thanks - i did look through all 92 pages and didn’t really see anything like what I had in mind except for one Tacori ring on one of the last pages. I guess doing this style ‘graduated pave’ with alternating sapphires and diamonds w/o a halo is not a very popular look??

Could you turn the whole collection into a station necklace? Big central stone with alternating diamonds and sapphires along the chain? Or do you want a ring? It's a lovely sentiment.

I have a graduated diamond band for my sapphire ring, though my sapph is not an oval and I went with very unusual prongs. Not sure how much of an idea this will give you, but it's something.

Thank you! It is 14k white gold/palladium mix with a satin finish.
