GIA graded the color all six of these little guys to be of natural origin.

Moving clockwise the colors are:
Fancy Yellow, Fancy Deep Purple Pink, Fancy Light Bluish Green, Fancy Deep Blue, Fancy Intense Green Blue, Fancy Intense Green.
The clarity grades are from SI2 to VS1.
Weights are from .12 to .65 ct.

The pic does not do them justice.
In person the yellow is deeper in color but the color of the Round Green and the Light Bluish Green Emerald is not that deep.
It is nearly impossible to get the light just right to "accurately" portray colored diamonds, especially with several colors and the diamonds facing different directions.
They change their look dramatically when the lighting or environment changes.

Leibish & Co. www.fancydiamonds.net has been wonderful to work with.
They have great stones, and great service.
I even returned some diamonds with no problem.

You're back! You have been missed.

Your collection is stunning. Do you have plans for any of these stones?

Yuuuuuummmmmmmmmyyyyy.

The larger, paler blue emerald cut is my favourite. Followed by the green. And the pink. And the pear, and the heart and baby emerald...oh they're all just fabulous! Great pics!

You should find a way to make gem all into one pendant. Then give it to me :D

They are exquisite. I really love that green. I'm partial to the green diamond's cut, though I know it's all about color with these. Fantastic collection. What will you do with them? Going to set any?

Thanks all.
Davi, I don't have all the reports handy but I think only one had faint fluorescence, but some had that shorter GIA report (Colored Diamond Identification and Origin Report) that does not grade clarity or fluorescence.
I'll take a pic of all of them under UV soon.
Can't wait to see your greenish-yellow. :appl: I have my eye on a green-yellow too.

Matata, I too have a soft spot for the blues, as you can see.

Circe, no plans yet for these.
They are together in a small glass gem case that I carried around for four days while traveling to see them in different light.
Maybe I'll just keep it on my keychain.

Pixie, my favorite shape is the Light Bluish Green Emerald; the proportions are balanced and perfect to my eye.
The other two emerald cuts are a little long to me, but you can''t be too picky with FCDs since supplies are scarce.
My favorite color is the Fancy Intense Green Blue Pear; it reminds me of the hue of shallow water surrounding the white sandy beach of a tropical island.
My favorite for light performance is the Fancy Intense Green Round. That thing is a raging fireball, and is the most likely to get set into a tension setting ring.

kenny Nice to see you! You have a fabulous collection. I must also mention that your photography skill is AMAZING!!! diamond seller should hire you to take pictures of their inventory. I've browsed through their site a time or two, and been itching for some yummy yellow traps... for sidestones of some sort  how are their color on the website vs what you get? pretty close?

Thanks.

I'm SO glad you asked about the color faithfulness.
Before buying and photographing FCDs myself, I would have thought your question was simple and could get a simple answer.

But now I am much more sympathetic about how difficult it is to produce a "true" pic of a FCD's color.
The color changes SO much with the lighting type size and number of lights, the angle of the light(s), stone and camera and the environment around the stone.
I'm not avoiding your question; I'm putting it into perspective.
I have nothing to gain monetarily by making the color look "better" when I take my pics but still it is a challenge to get it right, or accurate whatever that is.

Imagine if someone asked you to take one picture of your 5 year old daughter's face that is the average of all her expressions.
Tough job, because the color of FCDs, like little faces, change all the time.

All that said I'd say, based on my experience buying and photographing these and a few other FCDs I've bought and returned to Leibish, I'd say, yes, Leibish's color pics are representative of the "so called true" colors of the diamonds.

Also I'll add, when you buy a FCD and open the box the FCD will not look exactly like any vendor's pic unless you open the box in the exact same lighting and environment the vendor used for that pic.

(strange, my first reply didn't post)

anyway, Holy Cow Kenny, how incredible this is!!

I have to ask you, did you acquire these little beauties all at once or over time?
And how did you ever decide what color for each stone?

It's just too fun - love 'em!! What are your plans?

I think I just passed out for a second there. Wow Kenny! You really *have* been busy!

I absolutely adore that OMC green. But all of them are absolutely fantastic.
