1.17 and 1.18ct. Those are the only two I had taken notes on. I'm starting my Christmas shopping now but I'm going to delay any diamond purchases. I liked LG718507167 at $270.00 but at $434.00 it doesn't have the same appeal.... Cheap cheep.

Can confirm prices are up – I was in the process of designing a piece and planning a purchase for a parcel of .50 & .75 ct H&A diamonds, which were originally $150 - $170/ea and now they're $220 - 250/ea.

I was looking on LGD with the search parameters limited to the carat size that I wanted for the project, H&A, HPHT, and a few adjustments to the percentages for Table and Depth % to only show diamonds with SIC proportions. Before the website update, their ready-to-ship inventory was plentiful and very competitively priced.

With the former prices at $150-170/ea, I was just going to buy several individually selected .50 and .75 stones in an order or two. That price range was something I could feel casual about because the project requires about 20+ stones.

The recent price increase does give me some pause; I think I will wait to see whether these prices stabilize or drop depending on if or when tariff and/or market chaos levels out. It's definitely hard to plan purchases at the moment because of all of the instability, and that goes for precious metal prices as well.

Perhaps I should hoard LGDs and resale at a later date when it is OK to ship more than just a letter to US from UK!

Both have dropped by over 20%, now $344.00 & $342.00.

I am not surprised.
Prices are going to bounce up and down while the new reality gets sorted out.
Prices are going to bounce up then when sales slow bounce back down until they find a level they can sell at and still make money and tariffs levels steady out.
