This ring has been in my family for about 40 years and was purchased from a friend who needed cash at the time.

I always loved the ring, but over the years I have not really been able to figure out how old it is or where it came from.

We think it is Burmese Rubies and mine cut diamonds set in unmeasured gold and poladium. I cannot identify any makers marks.

Anyone have any idea's about age or period?

What a pretty ring. I would take it to a local gemologist for a little help in determining age and value of the stones and setting.

Pretty! Looks French or Austro-Hungarian to me, turn of the 19th/20th century possibly?

Thank you, we thought it may be from that time period, but a friend who was researching it a little thought maybe Spain or a neighboring country.
