I thought I would share this necklace, since it's very dramatic and interesting. I bought this at a private showing of unusual gems at my jeweler's store some time ago. The story is that this single, tourmaline crystal was held up in a Brazilian court in a mining dispute for some years before it became available for sale. The pictures don't capture the colors as accurately as I hoped. The green is a deep blue green, fading into yellow and then peach orange. I had them strung with 18k beads in between and a clasp. The earrings are deep blue green tourmaline cabochons, to make a set. Though there are some natural fractures, the slices are quite thick. Hope this adds somefun!
