I know you pay more for name brand diamonds, and you pay more for unique cuts, but how do you even go about getting certain unusually cut diamonds? I searched the web out of curiosity for unusual cuts and came across the Savannah cut, the Centennaire cut, the Star Diamond, the Baroness cut, the Firerose, and the Gabrielle among others...but could not find out who sells them! Some images came with links that didn''t work, others had little to no information about them. There are few that I have found retailers for, such as the CrissCut and the Jubilee. I''ll attach a picture of the star diamond, my favorite, which is basically a decagon shape.

So my question is... where can I find some unusual cut diamonds, are they outrageously priced, and can you attach a picture? It would be especially fun if people showed off the unusual cuts they own. Thanks!

Check out gooodoldgold, they carry a few unusual cuts.

I see they have great reviews and a unique selection. I''m definitely not a fan of the hearts and arrows, but I must say that the eighternity is a special beauty. But the Jubliee just steals my heart... Are their prices normal, though? I only have a 1/2 carat ering, so I''m not too familiar with prices for stuff over a carat.

Why do you dislike H&As?

I ask because both the eighternity and jubilee are H&A stones - this just means they have the perfect optical symmetry that allows for those pristinely defined arrows and hearts patterns from table and pavilion view. Both shapes will have very unique and distinct arrow patterns, if that's something you're trying to avoid with H&A stones.

Ah, that would be because I like the chaos of the regular round diamonds, I also like that crushed ice look some diamonds have, but when I see a hearts & arrows it seems too orderly. My diamond, for example, looks different every time I see it, and a h&a round diamond is always the same pattern. I could be wrong about this, but this is how I see them in my eyes. I can''t explain why the eighternity is different. Maybe eight just sits right with me. Anyway, who can deny how good it looks? And I should have said I only dislike round hearts and arrows cuts because I''m okay with most other h&a cuts.

I think most of these cuts have prices, MSRP, set by the cutters rather than the vendor so their prices are about the same.

Are there any other sites? Nobody has an unusual cut of their own?
