Anybody for a bi-color ruby? Color zoning becomes a feature, not a fault, here. I came across it on Cecile Raley's site and thought you all would like to see it. (Tried to post in Somebody's Gotta Buy This Stone but ran into a technical snag.) It's not the ideal stoplight red, but so pretty in its own quirky way. https://www.etsy.com/listing/1012559720/unheated-ruby-from-afghanistan-agl-fully?click_key=63af09f98d54e3abd3238c430b586563622e982b:1012559720&click_sum=9c6a28cb&ga_search_query=ruby&ref=shop_items_search_13&frs=1&sts=1

Very cool! I’ve never seen color dispersed in a stone like that.

I think it's really cool too!

Two year-old report and I do not see that feature in the (admittedly small) photo on the actual report. I would feel better if I could see it in that image.

Yes, agree. It also seems to me that AGL would have included a specific reference under Color Description and/or Comments regarding the bi-color (red/pink) aspect of the ruby since the listing photos/video depict an apx 50/50 color split ...

[I do think it is an attractive gemstone, but personally I would consider it a ruby/pink sapphire]

I think what you are seeing is a horizontal inclusion, not a bi-color stone.
