Unique NY setting retail

Hi all! I'm about at my wits end trying to find someone who sells unique NY settings and will put my own stone into it. I have emailed every local jeweler around and not gotten any replies. Unqiue tells me they "can't legally disclose jeweler info to me" eye roll. I stumbled on this site and thought you all might be able to help. Anyone know reputable online folks who will order a setting and place a stone for me? Thank you so much for help!

You might try doing a Google search, using "Unique Settings of New York" retailer [name of your home town] to see what local retailers appear. I just did several searches, plugging in random cities/towns, and Google pulled up at least 2 retailers in each locale-nearby environs.

Not sure where you are located but some years back Michael E of The Gem Shoppe ordered a setting for me from Unique Settings of New York and set my stone in it -- he is based in Washington (state). http://www.gemshoppe.com/html/contact_order.html I haven't worked with him for several years but he made 3 or 4 rings for me and did beautiful work and his price quotes were reasonable.

What setting are you looking at?

I used to work with a jewellery company that ordered from USNY and some of their work was... average. That may have changed (it was a number of years ago!) but it wouldn't surprise me if an alternate vendor was was recommended
