Thank you Stone Hunter! Yes it's an ering; I don't expect her to wear a wedding ring with it (finding one to work with it would be really tough). The underlying ring, I believe, is about 60 years old, and the diamond seems to be much older. I'll have a better idea after the appraiser takes a look at it. What does TFS mean?

It is just lovely. I esp. like the way it looks so delicate, and yet when you look closely, the stones are quite well protected. It looks like she will be able to wear it everyday safely, yet it is so intricate.

Thank you all for the kind words. I knew she would love it, but now I''m glad to see that others will like it too. She''s a hairdresser, so Pink Tower, it had to be set low and snag free.

She wouldn''t wear it if it kept snagging up in people''s hair. I imagine she would lose a lot of business if it did, lol.

The appraisal isn''t until late this week, and the proposal isn''t for another month. The waiting is killing me!
