You certainly are a mystery person! I just wanted to say that your stones are the most beautiful I have ever seen. I would love to have one of these, but I imagine only people like celebrities could afford them! But thank you for allowing us to see them..this is a form of art that we can all appreciate!

They are a pair of trapezoids designed in the faceting structure of the OMC''s, the two shorter corners are rounded into a cushiony look..., and the pair consits of two "open" culets..., Just like the OMC''s

ahhh, different angle! In the 2nd picture the stones remind me of scott''s "mt dew" - is it a trick of the light or are those stones fairly yellow with a strong flour?
More please!!

french cut diamonds are the same on either side, correct? So how do you mount them? Do you have a pic of any set? do they throw off pinfire or broadfire?

I have never seen that before... I noticed the inward curvature earlier in the thread, does this mean that concave faceting is also possible with diamonds, I had heard it wasn''t...PRETTY cuts btw, esp the french cut tapers, I want a pair for my next ring!

ha! I''ve found some of the blurry shots are best at getting pinfire in the stones LOL

Prediction, from my past experience LOL: You''ll love the stone just before it has to be returned.

Don''t follow my pattern of analyzing each stone to the point of ending up with no stone at all. I''m like you in a way because I over-analyzed diamonds to death. I learned after much prompting from the PS''ers that your eyes tell the whole story. If it speaks to you, forget the numbers.

You have a beautiful sparkly stone there....enjoy!!!

I love seeing unique cuts of diamonds! Thanks for sharing the pics. My favorite was the french cut square diamond, love the design in the center.

Okay I''ll add a few in... I''m sure many have seen some of these before, but this looks like a good place to see them again!

this is a context cut - has some similarities to a french cut but simpler, fewer facets I *think*.
